TX Hyphen is a division of the TX Youth Department. Hyphen ministry is focused on ages 18 – 30 years old and unmarried. Texas Hyphen is a vital part of ministry on a personal, local, and district level. Our vision is to increase the involvement of this group in their places of ministry. We believe that the future direction of the church is resting on this group. We as leaders need to invest effort, energy, prayer, training, and faith in this ministry. The hyphen symbol represents a connection between two concepts. This little line serves to fuse together words so that their meanings are altered and a new thought emerges. We owe this generation the respect to allow their voices to be heard, and then take the opportunity to teach, instruct, and guide them in an effort to build and strengthen the Kingdom.

HYPHEN RETREAT

We are so excited to be hosting a HYPHEN RETREAT at Camp Cho Yeh in Livingston TX! You won’t want to miss, October 17th-19th! We are planning this event as an effort to give Hyphen age individuals an opportunity to fellowship with one another while getting away from the distractions of their increasingly busy schedules. Our hope is to allow them an opportunity to retreat and experience the presence of God with like-minded Hyphens.

We have regional Hyphen rallies and events that will include several sections. This will involve a time of service, preaching, worshiping, and fellowship. We want to create an environment that increases our walk with God, and involvement in the local church.

HYPHEN EVENTS

Talk with your pastor about starting a Hyphen group in your local church. You most likely already have one (College and Career). The next thing that you need to do is contact us so that we can add you to our email and contact list for upcoming events.
